Seldon is delighted to have appointed former-Contino Head of People, Amy Darlow, as the company’s first Head of People and Talent. This strategic appointment will drive forward our ambitious growth plans for Seldon while helping us to maintain and strengthen our first-class company culture. Amy’s appointment coincides with Seldon’s plans to double its headcount by the end of this year.
Amy will lead Seldon’s human resources strategy, overseeing the company’s organisational and leadership development. She joins the team with more than eight years of experience working in the technology sector, having built her career at high-growth organisations, excelling in all areas of talent acquisition, employee engagement and career development.
Prior to joining Seldon, Amy was promoted to Head of People EMEA at cloud transformation consultancy Contino. There, she proved instrumental in the start-up’s people strategy, helping to treble the headcount before Contino was acquired by Cognizant in 2019. Amy is also a former HR Manager of management consultancy Sysdoc, where she worked closely with the senior leadership team to execute HR and recruitment plans and worked as a HR Advisor at digital cinema software company Arts Alliance Media.

Her remit also extends to building out Seldon’s approach to hiring, attracting and retaining more world-class talent, developing our employee experience, nurturing an inclusive culture, implementing learning and career development programmes, enhancing knowledge sharing and thought leadership, as well as driving diversity and inclusion within the organisation.

As we scale up, we want to ensure that Seldon rewards and recognises the achievements of the team and is set up well for sustainable growth.
